Let's Try Again

After deleting my old blog and starting again, everything went a bit crazy. So here I am starting again now that things have become a little calmer.

Let me just start by going back to Halloween. October 30th to be exact. I travelled all the way to London, via Kettering and Bedford, to see Avenged Sevenfold in Hammersmith.  This was the second time and seen them, so I knew what to expect from and A7X show, but they still blew me away.  Those guys have been through so much over the last 12 months, and to see them putting on such a powerful show was amazing.  Nightmare is an incredible record, something for the band to really be proud of.  As I'm sure every Avenged fan is, I am so grateful to Mike Portnoy for stepping in and helping out.  If Jimmy couldn't make the record, we are glad that someone who inspired him so much, could.  I am so proud to be part of the A7X Family.

I was speaking to a friend the other day, who is a practising Christian.  However, when I asked him a simple question he avoided answering it.  All I asked was "Is The Bible to be taken literally or figuratively?"  If literally then the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is fucked up! If figuratively, what the hell is the message "gay bad, incest good" supposed to teach???

When you are speaking of a practising Christian, are you speaking of me?

I did respond didn't I?

Sorry if I misunderstand :)

No I'm not! this was written before I spoke to you. The practising Christian I was referring to is a friend of mine who flies off the handle when anything he believes is questioned.

You did respond, yes and it was very appreciated :)

Okay haha :) my apologies!

Hope your having a great Christmas!

Can I ask this question? As an athiest how do you celebrate Christmas? Don't you ever feel it is a bit hypcritical to join in or not. I would say it isn't as the world has imposed other values & ideas to Christmas that you can celebrate but I would like to know your view :) thanks!
